Anzac Day featuring the Red Centre Technology Partners Chief Ministers Cup 1600m
The Anzac Day race meeting will be held on Sunday 25th of April, 2021.
Paying tribute to Australia and New Zealand's courageous servicemen and women, while acknowledging the role racing played in the lives of those serving and the contribution of horses in war.
A big crowd is expected at Pioneer Park to enjoy the tradition of Thoroughbred Racing on Anzac Day for the first time in “The Alice” for many years.
Gates will open at 12:00 noon and in lieu of a General Admission charge the Club is asking for a donation to our local RSL Sub-Branch. Military and Returned Services person are invited to attend as guests of the Club at no cost.
Dave Fogarty Pavilion
A special bar will be available in the Dave Fogarty Pavilion overlooking the Mounting Yard.
Guests are invited to wear their medals and receive discounted drinks and complimentary snacks.
Our air-conditioned bar on the ground floor of the grandstand, next to the Princess Amelia Café, overlooks the winning post and features lounge seating, tables and chairs, banks of TVs for betting on all race meetings, as well as full bar and TAB facilities.
Members Bar & Balcony
Members, cheer your horse across the line in our private upstairs air-conditioned bar overlooking the winning post! There are banks of TVs for betting on all race meetings, plus a shaded external balcony. This is the prime spot to relax and take in spectacular, uninterrupted elevated views of the whole track and the MacDonnell Ranges beyond.
